Given our location in the Brisbane Central Business District, we have received medical advice that there is an unacceptable risk to staff and clients travelling into our Brisbane office. Therefore from Monday 23rd March, our Brisbane office will be closed until 30 April 2020. Due to the reduced risk of its regional location and lower population density, our Toowoomba office will remain open.
We wish to make the following points about our change in operations.
None of our staff have been exposed or knowingly come in contact with a person infected with COID-19. Closing the office is a proactive measure.
Our staff will be working from home and where possible, it will be business as usual.
Effectively immediately, we will not be taking any face-to-face meetings in our Brisbane office. Telephone meetings will be our preferred method of communication.
Our systems are easily adapted to working from home. Our internet based phones will mean we can take and transfer your telephone calls normally. You can call our Brisbane number (07 32362726) during business hours and reach any of our staff.
Due to operational difficulties, we will not be posting tax returns or other correspondence. Documents will be sent via our secure Client Portal or email. Please call if you need to send us something in the post or courier.
Despite planning & testing as much as possible, we expect there will be some hiccups that we will encounter under this new arrangement. We ask that you be patient as we work to resolve any issues. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
